Shek Tong Tsui (constituency)

Shek Tong Tsui is one of the 15 constituencies of the Central and Western District Council, Hong Kong. The seat elects one member of the council every four years. Since its creation in 1994, the seat has continuously been held by Chan Choi-hi. A founding member of the Democratic Party, Chan would be expelled from the DP after joining the Provisional Legislative Council, and would go on to co-found the pro-establishment New Century Forum. However, except in 2007, Chan has been running as an independent.
